The final round of the South Coast Group 7 competition was played on Saturday for the Kiama Junior Knights mod league and league tag teams. Congratulations to our Under 10-1s, Under 11-2s, Under 11-1s and Under 12 Red Girls League Tag teams who have progressed through to semi finals. The girls also finished the season as minor premiers which is a fantastic achievement! All four teams will play at Chittick Oval on Saturday 4 August so it’s the perfect opportunity to get down and cheer junior Knights on at: 10-1 Min Milton Ulladulla v Kiama 9:50 am 11-2 Min APOF White v Kiama 10:40 am 11-1 Maj APOF Maroon v Kiama 11:30 am G U12 Maj Stingrays Green v Kiama Red 2:50 pm The Kiama Junior Knights mini teams (Under 6s to Under 9s) also finished the 2018 season on the weekend, with a gala day which was played in perfect winter conditions. The presentation day for the minis teams is on Sunday 26 August at 10am at Chittick Oval. The will be some fun games, presentation of trophies and BBQ. Meanwhile, the end of year presentation day for the Mods and International teams (Under 10s to Under 12s league teams, and Under 12s to Under 16s Girls League Tag teams) will be held on Sunday 23 September at the Kiama Leagues Club from 3pm. It will include the presentation of awards for each team and will be a great way to celebrate the end of another successful year for the Junior Knights!
