The Kiama Junior Knights were back in action at Chittick Oval on Saturday, with round 4 of the South Coast Group 7 Junior Rugby League competition.

At midday, the Knights Under 11’1s League team continued their solid start to the season with a convincing 50-10 win over St Georges Basin.
With several players missing due to school holidays, reinforcements were called upon from the Under 11’2s and Under 10s.
“All players stepped up and contributed to the win, under the guidance of skipper Ally Hamilton,” said John Mak, Co-coach.
“Standouts in attack were Jett Brookfield, Tewiremu Harris and Lucas Mak, while the Poching brothers Levii and Lacom held the middle in defence. New recruit Phoenix Johns also showed he will be a handful for any opposition.
“The team enjoyed the win and will now prepare for the local derby with Gerringong next Saturday,” said John.
