A plan has been developed by the Kiama Knights Junior Rugby League Football Club to assist teams, and spectators visiting Chittick Oval to adhere to our COVID-19 safety measures.
This Safety Plan follows the guidelines and recommendations of the NSW Government, the Public Health Order and direction of the NSW Health Minister to minimise the risk of transmission of COVID-19 to all players, spectators, game officials including coaches, managers, first aid officers, and referees.
The advice that we are providing to players, coaches and officials is as follows:
if you display any respiratory symptoms (no matter how mild) such as cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, running nose etc, or fever or gastrointestinal symptoms (eg. diarrhoea or vomiting) or loss of smell and/or taste, of flu-like symptoms such as muscle aches, fatigue or other possible signs of COVID-19, you must not attend any games at Chittick Oval
if you have travelled internationally, been to Melbourne or visited a hotspot within NSW within the last 14 days (https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/latest-news-and-updates#latest-covid-19-case-locations-in-nsw), you must not attend any games at Chittick Oval
if you have been in direct contact with a known case in the last 14 days, you must not attend any games at Chittick Oval.
Also only one parent or carer can attend per player.
